An annual subscription to our YOUTH MARKET/YOUNG ADULT TREND TRACKING REPORT (The Hot Sheet) is like having an on-going market research program, keeping you tapped in, helping you understand the Generation Y/Millennial mindset and alerting you to hot new trends at their inception. The report facilitates target marketing and helps clients track and monitor macro trends developing in multiple categories.
Based on surveys conducted throughout the country with young people ages 8-24, The YOUTH MARKET/YOUNG ADULT TREND TRACKING REPORT is the only report of its kind that focuses on young adults, teens, and tweens. Survey data is segmented by gender and age group (8-12, 13-17, 18-24).
Throughout the year, young adults, teens and tweens complete open-ended questionnaires exploring what’s new and cool on their radar, their values and aspirations, lifestyle and interests, their involvement with technology and social networking, entertainment and media consumption, purchase behavior and hot new brands in a broad range of categories. The use of open-ended questions results in more in-depth, real answers from our Gen Y panelists, thereby highlighting their specific interests. Our annualized sample is representative of this population segment by gender, age, ethnic background and region according to Census data.

Every two months, you’ll receive THE YOUTH MARKET/YOUNG ADULT TREND TRACKING REPORT, based on surveys conducted in the prior two months among 500 young people. The ‘Highlights’ section focuses on emerging trends by age group, while the survey data provides unfiltered consumer insights directly from the panelists utilizing an open-ended questionnaire for the most up-to-date information.
- Annual Presentation (Hot Sheet Live)
Offered each spring at your office, our annual presentation is a fun, entertaining and informative look at emerging trends in the Generation Y cultural landscape, as well as highlights of the previous year. Partially tailored for each subscriber’s needs, the 90-minute presentation includes Q&A—a chance to discuss the implications for your business. For many subscribers, our annual presentation is a company event—bringing everyone up to date on where the Generation Y/youth market is headed.
All reports are delivered in electronic format (PDF).
The subscription cost is $18,000.
